SKAO Observation Scheduling Tool Services
The Observation Scheduling tool provides the capability to automatically execute scheduling blocks according to a pre-defined prioritised list and allow user interaction to support manual selection of tasks or reprioritisation as needed. It re-evaluates the list of prioritised tasks against operational resources and constraints and adapts the Executable SBs as needed. The OST extracts SBD’s list from ODA and allow user to add them into observing queue and send this queue for execution using OET APIs. Authorized user can view the current SBD execution, stop execution or abort the currently executing SBD.
